Episode 62
How Does a Big Personal Transition Affect Our Business?
“When we give ourselves permission to have space, everything changes”
What happens when we go through a big transition inside ourselves? How does this affect our business? In this week’s episode, we are talking about how to navigate personal transitions and how it affects our businesses, sales, families, and the people around us. This can be around our mindset, our emotions, our awareness or a physical transition. We have to realize that we need to give ourselves full permission to change and let our businesses change with us.
“How do we create a balance so that we have some space to eventually come back in to our businesses and do even more?”
As women, we encounter a lot of transitions over the course of our lives. We know some of the big ones like transitioning to motherhood, but we don’t as often talk about the mental, emotional or spiritual transitions we move through in our lives and how this affects our capacity to serve, to operate our businesses and to care for our families. It is important to honor and give ourselves permission during these times to transition and we give practical examples of how to do just that.
“Stop. Slow Down. Simplify. Go Back to the Basics.”
Sometimes, navigating a transition means going back to the basics. It means streamlining and cutting out all “extra” tasks, projects and growth.
Some of the steps to navigating a successful transition are acceptance, allowance, being transparent, and learning to renegotiate. When you learn to honor your own transitions, you are able to have a more successful business and fulfilling life.
